COVID-19
We want to tell you about the changes we have made to how we operate to keep our guests and our staff as safe as we can during the COVID19 pandemic. We believe that while these changes will keep you safer, they won’t detract from a wonderful stay with us. We are fortunate that all of the rooms at Coopershill are large and airy and with only 7 guest bedrooms it hasn’t been a problem to create the extra space needed for social distancing.
CLEANING & PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
Hand sanitiser will be available at strategic locations, all of our staff have received training specific to working in our new environment and we have introduced new cleaning protocols. Staff will have their temperature checked on arrival at work each day. We will be practicing social distancing, hand washing and sneeze etiquette. Frequent touch points throughout the house such as door handles and bannisters will be regularly disinfected at fixed times. Masks will be worn by staff serving tables and servicing bedrooms. PPE is optional for guests. If you will require PPE during your stay please bring your own.
The toilet on the ground floor will not be available to guests except for emergencies. Guests will only use the bathrooms in their own rooms.
BEDROOMS
On arrival you will be asked if you would like your room serviced each morning during your stay. When staff do service a bedroom during a stay then they will change their PPE for each bedroom to avoid cross contamination. We will be resting pillows, cushions, duvets and bedspreads for 72 hours between guest stays.
Extra pillows, blankets, cotton buds, hairdryers, tea trays, robes, slippers and reading material and fresh fruit have been removed from bedrooms but will be available through our “Just Ask” policy. If you would like any of these items during your stay, “Just Ask” and we will bring it to your room.
MEALS
Breakfast and dinner will be served in the dining room as usual and there will be 2 metres between diners except when they are back to back when there will be at least 1 metre. We have removed the buffet from breakfast but all of the same options will be brought to your table on request. Because this will take a little more time we will ask you to choose a time slot for breakfast on arrival.
THANK YOU!
We know that you will also practice social distancing, good hand hygiene and cough etiquette to help keep us all safe. Nowhere can guarantee that they are COVID-19 free but we will take every practical precaution to keep us that way without losing the pleasure of staying here.
We hope you choose to visit Coopershill. As always, we will do our very best to make your stay magical.
